How can you get involved? One easy way is to write your elected officials, to let them know that preventing child sexual abuse is important to you and that you support The Innocence Mission’s work to end it.

Many people think that politicians don’t bother to read the mail that people send them. This is not true! It is ESPECIALLY not true if you write the elected officials who are responsible to you -- whether or not you voted for them in the past, or voted at all, politicians pay very close attention to the opinions of their constituents.

Below you’ll find links to three websites that will allow you to identify your state and federal representatives by simply providing your address. Also you may downlaod a sample letter which you can use entirely, or as a starting point for the letter or email you compose.
