ELAINA KROLL - FOUNDER & CEO

As a survivor, founder and CEO of The Innocence Mission Elaina Kroll learned firsthand the heartache and grief of childhood sexual abuse. Now an advocate for victims, she is dedicated to the dream of creating a society where children are no longer at risk of the devastating crimes of sexual predators.

On January 30, 2009, Elaina’s perpetrator, a church music minister, pled guilty to sexual molestation and is now a registered sex offender. Realizing that most victims never get to see their perpetrator brought to justice, Elaina committed herself to helping and protecting all of those who suffer from this silent epidemic. She left a successful career in the wine industry to start an organization that educates parents and community members about the risks of CSA, that empowers survivors to report abuse and to stop the cycle of child sex crimes in our society. Now, a principal advocate for CSA, Elaina is often featured in local and state news, has aided in law enforcement training, regularly meets with members of state and federal government, and works hand in hand with influential leaders of our community towards ending CSA. Her commitment and passion towards the cause inspires many.

Elaina has a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing from San Francisco State University and is a Certified Specialist of Wine, as well a First Level Sommelier. She worked as a high school and junior high minister for over five years, and has extensive experience speaking to both youth and adults about important issues that affect our lives. An eloquent orator, Elaina is regularly requested to share her story, experience and knowledge with large groups and audiences. She currently resides in Newport Beach.
