MISSION STATEMENT

The Innocence Mission works to create a world where every child’s right to sexual innocence is protected and upheld.

VISION

The Innocence Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to the eradication of child sexual abuse throughout our society. By utilizing mass media, education, and grassroots advocacy, The Innocence Mission will work together with community partners to raise public awareness and implement prevention strategies around a silent epidemic that affects nearly a quarter of our nation’s children.

By informing responsible adults and parents about prevention, advocating for justice reform, and working with society’s influencers about the many facets that lead to child sexual abuse and exploitation, The Innocence Mission will create a world where every child’s right to sexual innocence is protected and upheld.

The Innocence Mission is committed to helping those who suffer as victims of child sexual abuse, through our Victims Assistance Fund we will assist in getting the treatment that is necessary for recovery. We also believe in giving a voice to survivors, by establishing a Survivors Speakers Bureau where survivors will share their stories with others, providing examples to others on speaking out and working though the trauma of abuse, so as to empower other victims and survivors.
