Dear Supporters of The Innocence Mission:

This past month, we had the launch of an exciting new program that we have designed specifically with parents in mind. On October 13th, we had an Orange County Prosecutor, Investigator and myself present to a group of Laguna Beach parents about tangible ways that they can work to keep their kids safe, right now! We spoke about Child Sexual Abuse, how it occurs, who the perpetrators are, but most importantly, how you can empower your children so that they never become victimized.

It was a powerful night for all who attended. In this next month, we will be presenting this information to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers to help them in the important work they do with kids in dependency.

Our goal for next year is to bring this critical presentation to over 150 parent's groups, schools, religious organizations , and other non-profit organizations and corporations. But we cannot do it without your help. On December 4th we will be having our most important fundraising event of the year. The success of this event will help to make our goal of preserving innocence a reality. Please support us - whether by attending, sponsoring, or merely spreading the word.
